….well to Lilly Anna Kids that is! I’m excited to be offering a few circus themed pieces over the next couple of weeks. These will be fun to wear to (guess what?)……the circus! Or those circus themed birthday parties, the zoo or just when they are wanting to wear something fun! Keep your ears tuned for the next piece coming soon!

Farm/Country life + kids=happy mom

We love living in the country and raising our kids on a farm (even if it’s a hobby farm). I was raised in the country with all the animals and have nothing but good memories. Taking care of animals is way more healthier than playing video games. I understand that not everyone is able to live like we do am that makes me more thankful for what I have. There is no shame in living in the country. If you do, embrace it and be thankful for the opportunity! Your kids will thank you for it when they grow up……..ask me how I know.

I had the privilege of taking Jennifer’s senior pictures a few weeks ago and she couldn’t have been more fun and adventurous. She was up for anything I suggested which made it so much easier. Of course she had to have a few with her friend, Katy. Thanks for letting me shoot you!

I’m embracing the camera….

unfortunately. No really, I came across this blog post about getting in front of the camera with your kids so they can see what you look like during this time of your life and it really hit home with me. I hate being in front of the camera because all I see is my flaws but then I think about my children and how all they see is the good and I’ve decided to do this for them. Show them how much I love them by showing my love for them in an image. We all love looking at pictures of our parents when they were young and in love and with their family. Why not do the same for our kids? I might have to make some extra effort to brush my hair but it will be so worth it for them. I try to capture the memory’s around us everyday but totally overlooked capturing one of their favorite people….me!
